Description
Chick brooding paper is a specially developed paper used in poultry houses during the early brooding stage to help chicks locate feed and water quickly. By creating a visible feeding surface on the floor, chicks are encouraged to start feeding sooner, helping them achieve their target growth weights and improving overall flock performance.
The paper can be used to cover approximately 70% of the brooding area, ensuring a better spread of chicks throughout the poultry house and reducing overcrowding around feeding points. It also acts as a temporary floor cover that prevents chicks from consuming litter material during their first few days, giving them a healthier start.
Once in use, the paper quickly absorbs bird droppings and naturally degrades within 3–5 days. Because it is highly biodegradable, there is no need to remove the paper after the brooding cycle, saving both time and labour.
This product is commonly used by poultry producers who want to improve early chick feeding behaviour, maintain a cleaner brooding environment and support healthy chick development.
